According to income tax regulations, if winners are individuals residing in the Republic of China, participants whose annual accumulated prize value from organizer activities exceeds NT$1,000 must include this in their annual comprehensive income. The organizer will report to the National Tax Administration according to withholding standards for various income types, providing winners with this other income to be included in income calculation and tax payment. According to Article 94-1 of the Income Tax Act, the organizer is exempt from issuing withholding certificates to winners, but applications can be made if needed.
